Frequently Asked Questions
Are there any monthly subscription fees?
No. ShiftMate is entirely pay-as-you-go for businesses. You only pay the 15% platform fee when a shift is successfully completed. It is completely free for workers.
What if a worker cancels or doesn't show up?
If a worker cancels, you are not charged the platform fee or the worker's pay. Our system will immediately notify backup workers to fill the spot to minimize disruption.
Can I hire a ShiftMate worker full-time?
Yes! If you find a worker you love and want to bring them on full-time, you can do so by paying a one-time placement fee. Contact our support team for details.
